Microgaming Pays Over €89M On Progressive Jackpots So Far

Microgaming’s progressive jackpot network awarded over €89 Million across more than 1,150,000 jackpots during the first half of the year.

The first six months of the year saw Microgaming payout €89,879,343 to lucky players of its progressive slots. The company awarded a total of 1,150,559 jackpots during the reviewed period. There were eight players who received seven or eight-figure jackpots, accounting for more than €43 Million in winnings.

Microgaming’s highly popular Mega Moolah online slot did well once again. A player, who played the provider’s five-reel, 25 payline, Africa-themed progressive slot, hit the largest jackpot win during the first half of the year. The player was paid out €13,328,028.16 and his win made history as the third largest ever in a Microgaming slot.

As of June 30, 2019, Microgaming’s progressive jackpot network has made as many as 74 people millionaires.

Commenting on the performance of their progressive slots, Microgaming CEO John Coleman said that “2019 is gearing up to be a great year for Microgaming’s progressive jackpot network, with total lifetime payouts fast approaching the €1.1 Billion mark.”
